Picking connects customer Orders to Stock so warehouse and field teams pull the right quantities before dispatch.
Please note:
- Pick confirmation decrements Track stock and products at the configured location — investigate mismatches before shipping.
- Hand off picked orders to Vehicles and zones only after quantities are confirmed; partial picks may split an order when backorder rules allow.
Run a pick list
- Open Picking (or the order queue with pick actions)
- Select orders ready to fulfill
- Generate pick lists grouped by aisle, zone, or wave
- Confirm picked quantities — shortages flag back to inventory
Partial picks can split an order when backorder rules allow; otherwise the line stays open until stock arrives.

Stock alignment
Pick confirmation decrements Track stock and products at the configured location. Mismatches between physical count and system stock usually surface here first — investigate before shipping.
Integration with logistics
Hand off picked orders to Vehicles and zones when dispatch is enabled. Logistics and live map can show in-transit status after vehicles depart. Trade orders for Vendors and FMCG customers often batch into waves by route — confirm resolved price list lines before release so invoice totals match at pick time.
Tips
- Batch picks by cutoff time to reduce aisle travel
- Scan or confirm SKU at pick time when barcodes are in use
- Restrict override permissions to supervisors for negative stock situations
- After shipment, open invoices from Create and send invoices should reflect picked quantities — reconcile partial picks before billing
