Google Calendar and Google Meet on Configuration → Integrations use the same per-user OAuth connection. Connecting either card authorizes calendar access; Meet features ride on that link. This is not the same as linking Google for passwordless sign-in under Linked accounts.
Please note:
- Each teammate connects their own Google account — admins cannot connect Calendar for someone else from Integrations.
- Disconnecting Google removes Calendar and Meet features for that user.
- Use EDGE Sword’s calendar and tasks after connecting to schedule work on the shared calendar surface.
Connect
- Open Configuration → Integrations.
- Find Google Calendar or Google Meet (Meet shows that it uses the same connection as Calendar).
- Click Connect and complete Google OAuth in the popup (allow popups if blocked).
- Confirm the card shows connected.
- Optionally run Test — a successful test reports how many calendars were found.
Disconnect
Use Disconnect on either card. You will lose Calendar sync and Meet helpers until you reconnect.
Calendar vs Linked accounts
| Feature | Integrations → Google Calendar/Meet | Settings → Accounts → Google |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Calendar sync + Meet | Sign-in identity |
| Scope | Per user | Per user |
| Required for | Scheduling / Meet links | Login with Google |
You can use both: sign in with Google and also authorize Calendar scopes for scheduling.
