Bookings centralizes reservations — from walk-ins to multi-night stays — and ties them to guest profiles used across Hospitality.
Please note:
- Checked-in stays update Rooms and housekeeping status and can open folios on Run the point of sale — settle charges before checkout to avoid locked room states.
- Permissions separate create, modify, and cancel actions; ask an admin if a button is missing.
Create a reservation
- Open Bookings
- Select dates, party size, and room or table preference — table holds use the same inventory as Dining floors and tables when dining is part of the stay.
- Attach or create a guest profile (name, phone, loyalty ID)
- Confirm status: tentative, confirmed, checked in, or cancelled
Front desk and hosts see the same timeline when multiple properties or floors share one workspace.

Checked-in bookings update Rooms and housekeeping status and can open folios on Run the point of sale. Charges post back to the guest profile for a single settlement at checkout. Pre-ordered set menus can reference published Recipes and menu items attached to the reservation notes.
Tips
- Use notes for allergies, VIP flags, or late arrival
- Release tentative holds before end of day to free inventory
- Permissions separate create, modify, and cancel actions — ask an admin if an action is missing
