My Profile in the Settings drawer is where every signed-in user manages their identity and device push notifications. No special permissions are required — open Settings from the sidebar rail, then choose My Profile under ACCOUNT.
Please note:
- Your workspace email address is read-only in this screen. Contact an administrator if your login email must change.
- Push notifications are per browser and per device. Enabling them on your laptop does not subscribe your phone.
- Harden your login separately under Account security, 2FA, and passkeys and Linked accounts.
Update your profile
- Open Settings → My Profile
- Edit First Name and Last Name
- Optionally upload a profile photo (JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP — max 1 MB)
- Crop the image in the editor, then click Update Profile
Accepted photos are uploaded to workspace media storage and linked to your account. Remove an existing photo with the × control on the avatar.
| Field | Editable | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| First name | Yes | Shown across the app and in @mentions |
| Last name | Yes | Used in avatars and record assignments |
| No | Tied to login and linked OAuth accounts | |
| Profile photo | Yes | Optional; falls back to initials |
Push notifications on this device
Below your profile card, Notification Settings controls Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push for the browser you are using now.
| Status | What you see | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Disabled | "Notifications are disabled" | Click Enable and allow the browser prompt |
| Active | Green Active badge | Use Send test push to verify delivery |
| Subscribed | Device token shown (truncated) | Unsubscribe device removes this browser |
When subscribed, you can copy the device token (click the token row) for troubleshooting with your administrator. Send test push calls the workspace notification service to confirm end-to-end delivery.
For how alerts reach you beyond push — in-app bell, email, and workflows — see Notifications overview.

Tips
- Upload a square or near-square photo for the best crop result
- If push stays disabled after Enable, check that your browser allows notifications for this site
- Pair device push with in-app alerts described in Notifications overview so you are covered when signed in on other machines
- Administrators running access reviews should include account hygiene from the Workspace security checklist
