Finance modules let you bill customers without leaving EDGE Sword. Confirmed invoices feed accounting and capital when ledger mappings are configured. Line prices usually resolve from Manage price lists on the originating order; B2B accounts link to Manage companies for consolidated billing history.

Payments
Record payments against open invoices. See Record payments and receipts for allocation details — choose the receiving bank account configured in Payment settings. When a customer is near their ceiling, credit control and limits may warn or block new orders until balances are paid down. Orders fulfilled through Picking and orders should be invoiced only after pick confirmation when your policy ties billing to shipment. Confirmed invoices may also trigger tokens and commissions accruals when those programs are active.
Please note:
- Voiding a confirmed invoice leaves an audit trail but does not remove open balance from credit control exposure until the void is processed and any linked orders are updated.
