Manage price lists

Overview

Price lists let you sell the same product at different prices by customer segment, channel, or geography. Lists override the base catalog price when assigned to an order, quote, or customer record. Promotional offers apply after the resolved list price unless your workspace stacks discounts differently.

Create a price list

1. Open Inventory → Price lists
2. Select New price list
3. Name the list and set currency, validity dates, and priority
4. Add products with list-specific prices or discount rules
5. Assign the list to customers, companies, or sales channels

Higher-priority lists win when a customer matches more than one assignment.

Please note:

• Expired lists fall back to the product base price; schedule replacements before campaign end dates to avoid gaps on high-volume SKUs listed in Track stock and products.

Maintenance tips

• Review expiring lists before campaign end dates
• Use a default list for retail and named lists for key accounts
• After bulk catalog updates, spot-check high-volume SKUs on each active list
• B2B accounts with credit control may still order at list price even when payment terms restrict new invoices
• Route and trade customers from Vendors and FMCG customers often carry dedicated lists — assign before peak season beats
• Field reps in the Salesmen portal resolve list prices automatically on mobile orders
• Confirmed picks from Picking and orders use the list price frozen at order release unless admins reprice manually

Editing price lists requires price_lists permission; sales users consume resolved prices on orders automatically.
