When you create a tenant, EDGE Sword asks which industry best describes your business. That choice applies a default module pack tuned for how teams in that sector work — navigation, suggested start modules, and onboarding hints align with the pack. You are not locked in: administrators can enable or disable any module later under Settings → Modules (see Enable and manage modules).
Please note:
- Industry defaults speed up setup; they do not grant permissions. Assign roles after modules are settled — see Roles in Settings.
- Disabling a module hides it for all users immediately — confirm no active workflows depend on it first (Configure your workspace).
- Additional industries appear during signup as coming soon; only Real Estate, FMCG, and Hospitality are fully provisioned today.

Coming soon industries
Signup also lists Technology, Healthcare, Finance, Retail, Manufacturing, Education, Consulting, Marketing, and Other. These options are visible for planning purposes but are not fully provisioned yet — selecting one today applies a lighter generic pack. Watch release notes or contact your account team when your sector moves to a live experience.
